Won't be long till the fun begins! We have been eating lettuce and kale. With all the rain we've had things have really grown. I plant quite a few tomatoes because we love salsa as well. I ...Today, I had a first taste of my sweet pea pod. I like planting peas because the start early in the season and you can harvest them very early. I like planting radishes because they germinate and produce in the blink of an eye. It's the immediate gratification after long winter and all that work, that really gets me.<br /><br />I like planting tomatoes because after the starts pass that precarious stage of the possibility of damping off, they turn into some impressive survives. When you lay tomatoes into the ground, they develop adventitious roots and grip to the ground so strongly.<br /><br />I like planting cucumbers because they grant me that refreshing and thirst quenching crunch in the middle of the hot summer. Don't mention the watermelon.<br /><br />I like planting . . . Do you want me to continue?
