Cream Cheese Frosting



Cream Cheese Frosting...need I say anything else?

Delicious on carrot and zucchini cakes.

Tasty on chocolate and strawberry cookies.

Superb on pumpkin and ginger breads.

Yummy on cinnamon rolls.

... and so much more!



You may already have the ingredients on hand...

A block of cream cheese, a stick of butter, some powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.

Having the cream cheese and butter at room temperature is important, so everything comes together smoothly...you don't want a lumpy cream cheese frosting.


So, let's make it...what you put it on is up to you! ;-)

Cream Cheese Frosting
1 block (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 stick (8 tablespoons) butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Mix together the cream cheese and butter.
Stir in the powdered sugar, a little at a time.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
