Jasmine or Honeysuckle

Can you please help me?

Is this jasmine or honeysuckle?

It grows wild on our property...

seems more rampant this year...

climbing up and over...

The smell is intoxicating...

I love to display a bouquet in a mason jar.

If you know if it is jasmine or honeysuckle please leave a comment or email me (LLFarmBlog@gmail.com).

Thanks for your help!

  1. Honey Suckle...you can actually suck the nector from the flowers! Jasmine usually grows in warmer climates. I just found your blog today...where are you located?

  3. It looks similar to the honeysuckle we have growing here, except that it's usually seen in shades of yellow and orange. I would think the smell would give it away.

  4. That looks like honeysuckle. We used to suck the nectar from it when we were children. How fortunate that you have a nice big wild batch to bring indoors!!! I've tried to grow it in the past without luck.

  5. It's definitely honeysuckle! I have some growing wild here, too. And the scent is heavenly!
