Why Do Chickens Dust Bathe?


Have you ever saw a chicken flopping around in a shallow hole in the ground?

This is actually a natural order of chickens.

It's called dust bathing (and can be quite entertaining to watch).

      So exciting to hear that you are getting chickens. You are wise to learn all you can before! We have been keeping chickens for about 3 years now, and I love it...plan on always have a flock ;-)
