That was an interesting article, and interesting that they get bored. I can't take on chickens because of the cats, but not because of my own, but amazingly a few people have them. They actually wander into the street some afternoons, and I hear the male in the morning. I have no idea what they are grazing on, maybe weeds, because grass is not that common unless you live where there is flood irrigation.
I love seeing your chickens and baby chicks.
