...or maybe just a tater kind of person?
Many times, I enjoy the side dishes more than the main dish.
Taters combined with garlic and cheese?
Yes, please!
Peel, dice, season, and bake in the oven.
...it is that easy.
Start by peeling the potatoes.
Dice them into bite size portions.
Spread them in a glass baking dish.
Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and parsley.
(I use this seasoning combination on most things.)
Give it a stir.
Cover with foil, and bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes, or until taters are tender.
Remove foil.
Add 8 ounces of your favorite shredded cheese.
(I prefer sharp cheddar or colby jack for this recipe.)
Bake uncovered for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
Enjoy!
Oh my! These look so yummy. Thank you for sharing another great recipe! Pat :)
ReplyDeleteLooks so good! I will have to try this, thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt's cold and overcast here today---this sounds like just the right thing! YUM!!!
ReplyDeleteI believe I will be putting this on the menu for tomorrow with a rotisserie chicken! It's gotta be the Elvis cup makes it taste better! ;0D
ReplyDeleteI agree, I love the sides! And this is a recipe I use quite often. I use a Pampered Chef stone baker dish with a lid, and it cooks them so perfectly every time, easy cleanup too. I also like to add bacon to ours. It is one of our family's favorite dishes, and one I made this weekend too, lol! :)
ReplyDeleteI like your addition of bacon...yum!
