White Chocolate Covered Snack Mix

Sweet and Salty.

Enough said, right!?!

Who doesn't need this combination every once in a while? ;-)

This snack mix is a hit with adults and kids...when you need to take something for a sports game, a school class party, a pot luck, or just because.  After all, who needs a reason to eat chocolate!?!

I have heard this called so many things:
trash
crack
mash

This concoction is easy to whip up and you can personalize it with your favorites.

This time I  choose:
pretzel sticks
Cheerios
M&M's

You could also add nuts, dried fruit, sprinkles, or anything that your little heart desires.

Stir your choice of candy/pretzel mixture together in a large bowl.

For the white chocolate I like to use something called white almond bark.
(You can find it in the baking aisle at most grocery stores.)

The bark melts easily in the microwave.
Melt at 30 second intervals, stirring as you go.

Simply pour the melted white chocolate over your candy/pretzel mixture.
Toss it all together, making sure everything is coated.

Spread on to wax paper to cool.
Then break into pieces.

Store the white chocolate covered snack mix in an airtight container.
