Our Vegetable Garden in July

Everything is growing here at LL Farm!

We are growing cucumbers on cattle fence, like we do tomatoes.
They are thriving and are much easier to find, compared to having them sprawled out on the ground.

Thought I'd give you a look in the garden...

Garden salads are still a favorite with lettuce and green onions included.

I planted both in succession, and plan to plant again in August, to ensure I have greens on my table through the Fall season.

We have enjoyed fried green tomatoes a few times ;-)

Just last night, I picked the first ripe tomatoes - red and yellow!

The first chocolate cherry tomato that I started from seed has appeared.

I am looking forward to this crop!

The zucchini has not taken over yet, although I have my recipes ready.

Broccoli is forming.

Will hopefully have green beans cooking within a few day since we have been getting lots of rain.

Although I don't like weeding the garden, the ladies sure do like it when I do.

Outside the garden fence and onto the grape arbor...

I am still amazed at how they have grown.

The grapes look beautiful draped with rain drops.

What's growing in your garden?

    1. Oh Teresa, that makes me giggle! A professional gardener I am not, but I do enjoy the harvest.

  2. Wow! Your produce looks fabulous! What I wouldn't give to have one of your vine-ripe tomatoes! And those grapes, what a treat!
We are taking the summer off. Too hot here to grow much and I haven't the energy to be out there right now. Looking forward to fall planting!
I'd love for you to share your outdoor post on this week's Maple Hill Hop! C'mon by!
