Lemon Ice Cream (and It Is My One Year Blogiversary)

Lemons are like little balls of sunshine.
They are a cheerful yellow color that can brighten any day.

I usually have lemons in my fridge.  I like to add a slice of lemon to my drinking water.
I like to add lemon zest to different foods to give an extra 'kick' of flavor.

Lemon ice cream has been a nice burst of flavor on these hot days.

Lemons
Heavy cream
Sugar

That's all you need to make delicious (no churn) Lemon Ice Cream!

Using a mixer, beat 2 cups of heavy cream in a glass bowl for one minute.
Add 1 cup of sugar and beat until soft peaks form.
Add 6 tbsp. (2 lemons) of fresh lemon juice.
Add the zest of one lemon.
Stir gently.
Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours.

Garnish with more lemon zest before serving.

Here is some that I scooped up just for you.  I hope you like it ;-)

August 2nd marked one year that I have been blogging!

I have been all over the board looking for my niche...
DIY projects
home decor
homesteading
and everything in between ;-)

I have made some awesome friends through blogging!
It's been nice to connect with people that 'get' me (bloggers and non bloggers).
It's also been nice to learn new things from other bloggers.

I have learned a lot and have a lot more to learn.

Here is my very first post:
A Piece of Grandma's House

Thank you to everyone who reads my little blog!

Cheers to this next year of blogging...I hope you will follow along.
